MYST is an consortium of Milwaukee Area middle and high school sailing teams who - along with the Pewaukee Lake Sailing School - provide the equipment, facilities and coaches for students to practice and compete in the exciting sport of High School Sailing. Practices are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays afternoons throughout the Fall and Spring Seasons with competitions on the weekends. 

Sailors within our program come from all across southeastern Wisconsin and many of our students are completely new to sailing. MYST provides an excellent opportunity for students to learn a new sport or refine their sailing skills all while meeting new friends from other schools, both regionally and nationally. High school sailing is a sport with unique challenges and opportunities. As a part of our program, sailors will have the chance to travel with their teams to competitions across the state, around the Midwest, and even to venues on the East and West Coasts. MYST alum can be found on collegiate sailing rosters all across the country, one even having won a 2019 ICSA National Championship!

As a high school sailor with MYST, students learn to compete at the highest level within the sport. The structure of the program - with several teams practicing together - results in an environment where athletes learn quickly and efficiently. Skill development is natural when sailors and coaches work together to improve performance. The MYST Sailors have proved themselves to be a force within the ranks of Midwest High School Sailing as they constantly dominate the top levels of competition at regional and national regattas.
