Fee: $550 per session or $990 Full Summer

• Session II - July 8 - August 1 

The 420 teen class is designed for youth aged 12-18 who are interested in either advanced racing or learning to sail in a fun and social environment. The Club 420 is a double-handed sailboat (2 people) which allows sailors to work closely with their teammate while on the water.

For beginner sailors, this class will teach basic seamanship skills like personal safety, knot tying, rigging the boat, caring for equipment, capsizing, and righting the boat, as well as introductory sailing skills like skippering and crewing as a team,  reading the wind, and the points of sail.

Again this summer, we will be offering an intermediate/advanced 420 class for returning sailors in the mornings. The class will focus on more advanced boat-handling skills, racing tactics, rules, and boat speed and recommended to have at least 2+ years of prior sailing experience. 

Boats are provided for this class and equipment use is included in the course fee.
