The PLSS and the Milwaukee Youth Sailing Team will be teaming up this fall to provide HS and Youth sailing opportunities in the greater Milwaukee and the Lake Country areas. Monday evenings are at the Milwaukee Yacht Club and Wednesday evenings are at the Pewaukee Yacht Club, with every Thursday a rotating race day at each club. Kevin Jewett, one of the area's premiere dinghy sailors and coaches will be coaching on Wednesday at the Pewaukee Yacht Club. Please see the website http://www.mystracing.org for further details. The Milwaukee Youth Sailing Team (MYST) was formed to provide area sailors with the resources necessary to broaden their sailing horizons. The goal is to build upon the foundation laid by our outstanding junior sailing school. To further this tradition, an effort is being made to offer our best young sailors the opportunity to hone their skills against the finest youth sailors in North America. The best way to improve is to practice hard, train at the best clinics and race against top competition. The Milwaukee Youth Sailing Team program will give our young sailors the chance to do just that! We are committed to providing a level of support that many other youth sailors in the country already enjoy.
